There are two different types of Scribe CMS for you to demo;
Standard User and Site Owner. Log in for either user type below
For the best user experience, please use Windows Internet Explorer version 5.5 or greater. (Mozilla Firefox is partially supported, v 1.5 or greater).
Please log out with your current user before trying a different one.
Which demo would you like to try?
Clicking on the buttons above will log you into the Scribe CMS demo site. Depending on which account type you have chosen, you will have a number of different operations available for you to manage the demo site. A Site Owner has the same privileges as a Standard User but also has additional features available. The privileges assigned to different Scribe CMS users are customisable, so you can have different users who are allowed to edit or only view particular folders. Users may also be be given publishing rights as you see fit.

Demo instructions
Simply click on one of the two buttons above to log in, then create, edit and publish any pages and content as you like.
Installing the EditLive! content editor (Windows Internet Explorer only)
Editing page content with the EditLive! editor, will require you to agree to install an ActiveX component. (This installation is only required the first time you use the editor).

In order to successfully install the editor, please make sure of the following:

You are logged in to your PC with a user account that has administrator rights (i.e. is allowed to install new software). Once installed, administrator rights are no longer necessary to run the editor.

In Internet Explorer set the security level to 'Medium' or lower.
(In the menu, 'Tools' > 'Internet Options' > 'Security').
The Internet Explorer security settings cannot be set to High. Also, some Custom Level settings may also cause errors. If you have a Custom Level of security set, the following options need to be set to "Enable" or "Prompt":

Download signed ActiveX controls

Run ActiveX controls and plugins

Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting

You are using Internet Explorer 5.5 or above
How to view your work after editing it with Scribe CMS demo
When you create and edit content in the Scribe CMS demo, you are actually editing a 'preview' area of the site. These are the pages and files that will appear on the demo site once you have published your changes (to publish your changes you must log in as the 'Site Owner', by clicking on the login button above and click 'Publish files').
Any files you have published, will appear on the site at the live location: http://demo0.scribe.uk.com.
