General Scribe CMS Features

Web browser based (Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox)
Scribe can manage multiple websites across many domains

Content is held in HTML pages allowing quick delivery of pages and good site recognition with search engines like Google, Yahoo, Altavista, etc. while meta-data is held in a database, facilitating ease of search and editing
Integration of bespoke site functionality is trivial – does not require knowledge of workings of Scribe. It is also possible for pages to have dynamic content and static content that is edited by scribe

Scribe CMS User and Group Management

Powerful file and folder access, manipulation, editing and publishing permissions model. Works down to single folder level if required
Three tiers of content management system users:
Executive CMS user: manage users; permissions, etc.
Standard CMS user: can have custom permissions applied, e.g. view, edit, manipulate files, publish
Website owner: a standard user with ability to manage site-wide operations e.g. menu management, publishing, site map generation etc.
The Executive User can also manage file and folder access and editing permissions through groups or just through users

Scribe CMS Demo

Demo Scribe CMS and try your hand at creating and managing content and explore Scribe's many features on a test site (requires Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer 5.5/Mozilla Firefox). When you first edit a web page you will be prompted to install the EditLive! Active-X component, this will allow you to edit pages directly in your browser. You must have been granted permission to install software on your PC in order for this to work correctly.
